Chocolate and foies gras Operation

In 2004, 154 contact points were organised by volunteers. This operation allowed the following sale :

• 18 tonne chocolate
• 6.8 tonne foie gras

The Christmas sale operation which is central in the initiatives of fund raising, has allowed to raise over 400 000 E donation in 2004. 

 

Present wrapping Christmas Operation

In December 2004, hundreds of volunteers were mobilised over France to organise present wrapping operations, mainly in the FNACs.  

 

Sensitive Chords

First week-end before spring Classical/ Jazz/ Traditional/ Variety Music concerts are organised in various regions of France, Belgium and Switzerland in aid of the Society. Some musicians perform on behalf of the people suffering from the disease and their families. 

 

The Cork Operation

There are three cork collection points in aid of the VML Society: in Eure et Loire (28), Bouches du Rhone (13) and Rhone Alpes (38-42-69) In 2004 over 42 tons cork were collected.

 

 

For the past 15 years at least, events are being organised by local branches, families and volunteers in numerous regions of France, including shows, concerts, walks, lotos, balloon releases.
