The LYSOSOME WALK

Join the Lysosome Walk

You choose Where, How, and With Whom !

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, families, friends, and supporters across France and around the world will take part in one shared action : Walking.

  • Not in the same place.
  • Not in the same way.
  • But at the same moment.

The Lysosome Walk begins at:

3:30 PM (Paris, France time – Central European Summer Time)

For participants in the United States, this corresponds approximately to:

  • 🇺🇸 Eastern Time (New York, Washington, Florida): 9:30 AM
  • 🇺🇸 Central Time (Chicago, Texas): 8:30 AM
  • 🇺🇸 Mountain Time (Denver, Colorado): 7:30 AM
  • 🇺🇸 Pacific Time (California, Washington State): 6:30 AM

No matter where you live, we invite you to walk at the time corresponding to 3:30 PM in France, so that we can all be connected by a single shared moment.

  • Walking for their children.
  • Walking for their loved ones and friends.
  • Walking to help move research forward.

A Community Already on the Move

Take a look at the map below and discover the people who have already joined the Lysosome Walk.

Many small steps create one BIG movement!

On October 4, every marker on this map will represent the same thing:

A united community with one message : RARE, BUT NOT ALONE !

How Can You Participate ?

It’s simple. Organize :
     • A walk near your home
     • At your own pace
     • Alone, with family, or with friends
     • No required distance
     • No complicated planning

Sunday, October 4, 2026
The only thing that matters is being part of it.

One Simple Thing You Can Do

Spread the word.
Invite someone to walk with you, or to join from wherever they are.
Sometimes, all it takes is one person to inspire many others.

Why the Lysosome Walk?

On Sunday, October 4 at 3:30 PM (Paris time), people across France—and beyond—will be connected by a shared moment.

  • Some will go for a long walk.
Others will take just a few steps.
  • Some will walk alone.
Others will be surrounded by family and friends.
  • But everyone will be thinking about the same cause.
And that is what gives this day its strength.

Why We Walk

Behind every step lies a shared belief:
Science can cure lysosomal diseases if we give it the resources it needs

The Lysosome Walk helps to

• Make our community visible
• Raise awareness of lysosomal diseases
• Support research
• Bring families, patients, friends, and supporters together

Every step matters.
Together, we can help accelerate progress toward better treatments and, one day, cures.
